Dr Kat Rumball is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist (DClinPsy, BSc Hons) who qualified in 2015. She has worked as a Lead Clinical Psychologist for over three years and has over fifteen years of experience working in mental health.

Alongside Kat’s NHS role, she works as a guest lecturer on the Clinical Psychology Doctorate at Royal Holloway and as a tutor with the Association of Psychological Therapies.

Kat’s first aim is to build a therapeutic relationship in which clients feel safe to explore and work with their challenges and strengths. She strives to provide a compassionate and empathic space, approaching difficulties with kindness and curiosity. Kat will tailor her approach to the goals and values of each client and can draw from a range of therapeutic approaches.

The therapeutic models she uses in particular include Compassion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.

Kat is currently working with adult clients and has sessions available on Thursday mornings.
