Dr. Kat Rumball is a Clinical Psychologist (DClinPsy, BSc Hons) and an HCPC-registered practitioner with over 15 years of clinical and academic experience. In addition to her private practice, Kat is a Guest Lecturer on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London, and a tutor with the Association of Psychological Therapies.

Kat works privately with adults, children and young people. She offers therapy sessions, initial neurodiversity consultations and Autism and combined Autism and ADHD assessments.

Neurodiversity Assessments:

Kat’s assessments are conducted as part of an experienced and compassionate team, following best-practice guidelines, including NICE recommendations and the UK Adult ADHD Network (UKAAN) Quality Assurance Standards. Kat’s assessment approach is neuroaffirming, ensuring each assessment is thorough and centered on understanding an individual’s unique strengths and challenges. 

Therapy:

As an experienced Clinical Psychologist, Kat tailors her therapeutic approach to align with each individual’s goals and values. She draws on evidence-based therapeutic models, including Compassion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Kat has particular expertise in working with anxiety related conditions such as OCD, panic, generalised anxiety and stress.

Availability:

Kat currently offers therapy appointments on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Autism and combined Autism and ADHD assessments are available throughout the week.
