Anna Page started training as a breastfeeding counsellor shortly after her son was born in 1991. She qualified in 1994 and since then has continued to update her skills and training, qualifying as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2006.
Anna’s interest in breastfeeding started long before she had even thought about having children of her own. At university, her dissertation was a study of the developing interactions between mothers and their babies during breastfeeding. Anna loved watching this early communication and started to see breastfeeding as more than just nutrition for the baby.
Anna teaches regular ante-natal breastfeeding classes from her home in Kingston and works in a weekly breastfeeding drop-in in North Kingston. As well as her teaching for the NCT, she spent over 10 years supporting breastfeeding and training staff on the maternity ward at Ealing Hospital. Anna offers private appointments to support women through problems that arise at any stage of breastfeeding.
