Jacqs graduated from the London School of Osteopathy and has completed post graduate study at The Rollin Becker Institute, Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy and in western medical acupuncture (dry needling). She is a certified Mummy MOT practitioner and has a wealth of experience in massage both as a practitioner and an educator. She uses her combined skillset to provide a comprehensive holistic and patient specific approach to her practice. Earlier in her career Jacqs also spent 3 years training as a nurse, the medical knowledge from which continues to inform her osteopathic practice.
Jacqs is a true believer in lifelong learning and as such is continuing to develop her osteopathic skills in the field of Paediatric Osteopathy. She has a special interest in the cranial osteopathic approach but also uses more traditional osteopathic techniques to help her patients return to and maintain optimal health and well-being. She loves to work with adults and children who need a gentler osteopathic approach to help re-balance their bodies and has specialist clinical Pilates knowledge that she incorporates into her treatment especially when working with post-partum women, and back pain sufferers, as she experienced this herself as a teenager. Her early back pain experience and the relief from manual therapies and exercise prescription, led her straight away to a career in Sports Therapy. Her own sporting interests have contributed to her interest in working with all sports injuries, but she particularly welcomes martial artists, boxers and runners.
