DESCRIPTION:Hypnobirthing Antenatal Course is a 3 session course for firs
 t time and subsequent parents with Rosie Gray from Richmond Doulas.\n\n\n
 Our KG Hypnobirthing course\, run by Rosie\, a highly experienced birth do
 ula\, will give you and your partner the knowledge and the tools to have a
  truly positive birth experience\, as well as give your baby the best poss
 ible start in life.\n\nDuring the course\, you will learn to rebuild trust
  and confidence in your own body’s ability to birth\, by understanding t
 hat ‘birth’ is not a medical emergency\, but a very natural process. A
  woman who is free from fear and feels safe and unobserved will produce ox
 ytocin and endorphins freely\, paving the way for a gentle\, calm and empo
 wering birth. Rosie will show you how to release that fear\, through breat
 hing techniques\, deep relaxation\, visualisations as well as the power of
  the mind and positive affirmations.\n\nAs a highly experienced birth doul
 a\, Rosie will also weave in her extensive experience having attended a va
 st number births. She will provide you with considerable practical informa
 tion based on this experience. Rosie regularly support births at West Mid\
 , Kingston\, Chelsea and Westminster and Queen Charlotte's\, so can help y
 ou to prepare for birth at your specific hospital. Your birth partner will
  also learn how to practically support you in labour – there are plenty 
 of amazing techniques and tips\, well honed through Rosie's experience.\n\
 nBy the end of the course you will both be fully confident and relaxed as 
 you approach the birth of your baby.\n\nThis is a 3 session small group co
 urse (a maximum of 4 couples) and you also receive:\n\n 	the Hypnobirthing
  book by Katherine Graves\,\n 	a folder of handouts to guide your practice
  at home\,\n 	a relaxation CD/MP3 download\,\n 	and ongoing support on th
 e end of the phone if desired.\n\nThe group environment is also very benef
 icial to many soon-to-be parents for friendship and support during the ear
 ly days. In fact often you will meet some lifelong friends!\n\nClasses ar

 rained hypnobirthing teacher (which is accredited by the Royal College of 
 Midwives) and birth / postnatal doula. She is passionate about the long-te
 rm benefits a mother and the whole family enjoy after a positive birth exp
 erience and strongly believes this can be achieved with good support and i
 nformation during pregnancy\, birth and postnatally. Rosie has experienc
 e with VBAC\, caesareans\, water births and twins. She has her own childre
 n which is also very important in being able to understand a mother's pers
 pective.
