DESCRIPTION:Baby Massage Course is a 5 session course for parents of youn
 g babies with Rosie Gray from Richmond Doulas.\n\n\nOur baby massage cou
 rse\, run by Rosie\, a highly experienced birth doula\, will give you the 
 knowledge and the tools to massage your baby.\n\nBaby massage is a centuri
 es old tradition that provides both mother and baby with significant and u
 ndisputed benefits that are widely endorsed by medical practitioners acros
 s the world.\n\nThe benefits to your baby:\n\n 	Improves relaxation\, enco
 uraging longer sleep duration for infants\,\n 	Helps to relieve the effect
 s of colic\, teething\, constipation and wind\,\n 	Stimulates all a baby
 ’s major systems: co-ordination\, respiration\, digestion\, learning abi
 lity and language development\,\n 	Helps strengthen the bond between you a
 nd baby.\n\nThe course will demonstrate how to massage your baby with conf
 idence as well as an informative discussion about all the benefits. Rosie
 's classes are extremely relaxed and you are welcome to feed and see to yo
 ur baby’s needs throughout the class. Each class is approximately 1 h
 our and includes a good cup of tea\, cake and a chat after. and includes o
 rganic oils\, homemade refreshments and handouts for each session.\n\nThis
  is a 5 session small group course and you also receive:\n\n 	organic oil
 s\,\n 	handouts\,\n 	tea and homemade cake\,\n 	chatting time after each c
 lass with other parents and Rosie.\n\nThe small group environment is very 
 beneficial to many new parents for friendship and support during the earl
 y days.\n\nClasses are on Thursdays from 10.30am. The course costs £85.

 nRosie Gray is a Katherine Graves trained hypnobirthing teacher (which i
 s accredited by the Royal College of Midwives) and birth / postnatal doula
 . She is passionate about the long-term benefits a mother and the whole fa
 mily enjoy after a positive birth experience and strongly believes this ca
 n be achieved with good support and information during pregnancy\, birth a
 nd postnatally. Rosie has experience with VBAC\, caesareans\, water birt
 hs and twins. She has her own children which is also very important in bei
 ng able to understand a mother's perspective.
